Today was spent cleaning inside, detailing outside and cleaning the salt off all the glass! Time to re-apply the Rain-X. Both dogs received a thorough bath to remove the remnants of the Jersey shore! What fun!
SYNOPSIS
Our trip (that started out as a three week hop up to see Karen) is wrapped up, we’ve returned to our home port, and it’s time to re-provision, take care of some business, do some maintenance on Maerin, and figure out where to next. We had a great time on our short cruise to New York and the Erie Canal. We plan to return next spring to pick up some spots we missed, revisit some favorites, and continue west through the rest of the canal, also a leg north to visit good friends in Ontario. We’re looking forward to another trip on the Canal. We hope you’ve enjoyed the photos and commentary, look for more to come in the future! If you’ve stopped by, and haven’t left a comment or dropped us an email, please do! We really look forward to checking our email for comments and notes from friends and family. It’s what makes maintaining the blog fun from this end!

Wow – sounds like you had an amazing trip so far – and it is only started! What do ya mean – maybe to see friends in Ontario – we are anticipating your arrival already! Things here are good, with the sunny warm weather the car has been out a lot and maybe off to a show in Michigan on Sat. depending on weather. Glad to see you are both getting along together, retirement must be suiting you both! Talk soon – take care, Bill and Eleanor

I’m so glad you are going to come back in the spring! It’s so neat to brag to everyone that my parents are coming up on their boat/home. The next time you come this way I’ll take a few days off to spend with you, instead of just one day of running Dad around the mall! Dad, your serpentine belt will be there by Monday afternoon. I can’t wait to see where you head next. Keep on blogging!!!
