Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Maerin and crew! The rain in Charleston finally stopped, giving us an opportunity to make the Christmas Eve service at St. Philip’s Episcopal. St. Philips is one of Charleston’s many historic churches, built in 1836. The service was well attended, the music was wonderful, the message from the rector was memorable. As a plus, we got to walk home in balmy and dry conditions! It’s been raining since we left Wrightsville Beach, so the clear skies are a welcome change!  We’ll stay another day here, then Saturday morning plan to head to Beaufort via the inside (ICW) route. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

Great to hear that you’re back on the ‘road’ again! The refit sounds like a lot of work but I bet “Maerin” looks as good as new. You’ll love the flopper-stopper…we did, especially, in the Exumas and south. Enjoy your travels. We’ll be following you through your blog. We got a RV before Thanksgiving and, are once again, full-timers cruisers (land not water). Hope you both have a great 2015!
