Finally!!
The batteries are in place, the genset seawater pump has been replaced with a new 110V centrifugal pump (no more expensive impeller changes or leaking seals!!) the freezer is filled and functioning quite nicely, and we’re provisioned. Time to go!!
We’ll be slipping the lines this morning and heading south. The plan at this point is to head just to Annapolis to visit Snyder’s Bootery for some new deck shoes for the skipper, tour a bit, then beat feet south in the early morning. Temps this morning moderated some, and the wind has abated, so we should have a delightful, if chilly cruise.

Congratulations on unsticking yourselves from the dock. The longest journey begins with a single step, as they say. Hope the weather holds for you!
