We’re in Stuart, poised for a trip across the Okeechobee Waterway. A delightful afternoon today, a nice long dinghy explore ended with a mechanical problem. Fortunately we were within easy reach of the mother ship, so the problem wasn’t compounded by having to row three miles back to the boat! It’s relatively minor, the prop spun the hub, and will require a new prop. It still works at idle speed, but no more speedy runs until we locate a new prop. Fortunately, we’re in the thick of the marine industry here, and we’ll be heading to Ft. Myers, another hotspot of marine industry, so finding a prop should be possible!
