Welcome aboard!

This is the log of the M/V Maerin, her crew and her travels. Learn about the vessel, meet her crew, see where she’s been and where future ports of call are planned. Check back for updates and for her current location! Thanks for visiting!
Some notes on the site and function:
- The site is a blog, it is running on WordPress with Gallery2 embedded to manage an extensive photo album. Captain’s Log posts areĀ GeoCoded , so our position at that posting will be pinned onto a standard Google Map. See the Location page. Don’t overlook the Photo Gallery, it expands on the photos posted in the blog. Photos posted in the blog are all linked to the Photo Gallery, just click on any photo to open the gallery.
- Because it’s a blog format, visitors can log comments. It becomes more of a community interaction. You’ll find the comments open in the posting sections. Please, let us know you were here, leave a comment! Comments are what make the blog fun for us!
- RSS feeds can let you know when areas of the blog have been updated. So if we add new photos, or new posts, you can get a note. If you see the RSS
icon, to set up the feed, just click on the icon to subscribe to the page. When that page is updated, so will your RSS bookmark in your browser bookmarks. - This blog is optimized for Firefox browser. If you don’t have it, follow the link on the bottom of the sidebar to get it. Most websites look better with Firefox!
Thanks for visiting, and remember, this is a blog, we really love getting comments, it makes it a lot more fun! So don’t be anonymous!!

the only problem I see with your site is that real boats are S/V. –I’m sure the capt will burn some fuel over this one!
Hope all is well, The crew of S/V Kairos

Hi guys!
Website is great! I wouldn’t have expected anything less than this from you. Andrea and I had a great time together and she did a great job taking care of my little Keira when I was at work on Friday. Thank god your not in the Gulf Coast right now. I hope you are all (pups included) having a wonderful time. Thanks for keeping us all updated as to where you are, it is a nice way to keep in touch…

Awesome website….great pictures….keep it up! It’s nice to know ya’ll (yeah, the southerners got me) are doing good. I know you’ve talked about this venture for some time now and I’m happy to see it all take place!
So if you’re planning on coming down to the gulf any time, you might want to do it soon before these hurricanes level the place.

Looks like you guys got out of here just in time! We were blasted with snow on Saturday (I’m sure you already knew…) I measured about 12 inches up here in Dover, PA. Keira and I built her first snowman yesterday.
Stay warm!! HA HA
